(This is the invitation we sent in order to find
partners)
We're a teachers' group of 1° Primary
School District from Pesaro, chief town of province lying the middle of Italy by the
Adriatic Sea.
We have set up a Netdays official project in 1999 called "European Kids" and
we'd like to involve teachers and schools from other European countries, as partners, in
our project for 2000.
The "European Kids" project
intends to achieve the following objectives:
- spreading and exchanging knowledge and
culture from the children's point of view (age 9-13)
- interacting among teachers, children,
schools from different countries (creating a schools network)
- getting to a good use of multimedia and
exchanging learning materials on the Internet.
- children's works in mother tongue and in
English
- teachers working out of children's own
production on Web for a wide enjoying (HOME PAGE in Italy).
- children's works about some of the
under-listed subjects in mother tongue and in English, with pictures and drawings.
The works will be sent via e-mail to our school that will publish them on the web
- our town - our village
- one holiday (Christmas, Easter,
Carnival, local feast...) lived by the children
- our school - moments of school life
An example of the work in European Kids
project can be watched on our web site: http://scuole.provincia.ps.it/dd.pesaro1

teachers, interested in this project, are invited to fill in
the online form and to send an e-mail to the following address: europeankids@provincia.ps.it writing
exactly their:

In order to be included in
the first partner-group, the partners are invited to send their participation as soon as
possible because we have to ask a community
grant by the 3rd of May.
Each school decides the
time each work needs to be finished.
The latest date for sending the works, that are to be published on the web, is on 16th of
October, considering that the Netdays activities are expected on the week from 20th to
27th of November.
